Bay Village Spring 2024 Neighborhood Cleanup

Event details

  • When: Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Noon
  • Where: Bay Village Garden, 28 Church St, Boston, MA 02116

The snow is long gone, but the winter debris is still all around the neighborhood. Please join us as we sweep up trash and prep Bay Village for a gorgeous 2024 spring season. There will be brooms and tools provided, which will be located at the park on the corner of Church and Melrose. Refreshments for participants will also be available.

As always, please stay home if you have a fever, cough, or other symptoms - or if you have had any exposure to COVID-19.

Remember to move your car!

  • Parking Location: 200 Stuart Street Garage, 200 Stuart St, Boston, MA 02116

All Bay Village cars can park from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM for free, courtesy of the 200 Stuart St Garage located in the  Revere Hotel Boston Common.

Any car on Bay Village streets during the cleanup hours may be subject to ticketing.

When leaving the garage, please pull into the left exit lane and show either a Bay Village resident parking sticker or an ID with a Bay Village address. If the attendant is not there, there is a phone number on the equipment to alert the attendant on duty.

PLEASE NOTE: If you enter before 7:00 AM or remove your vehicle after 1:00 PM you will not receive the free parking and will be charged the regular rates. If this occurs, please pay the parking fee and follow up with the Bay Village Neighborhood Association for remediation and possible reimbursement. Please do not escalate to LAZ Parking or the Revere Hotel as they are doing the neighborhood a great courtesy by offering free parking during the spring and fall cleanups and we do not want to disrupt that agreement in place. Again, please pay the parking fee and contact the BVNA after you pay to discuss next steps.
